Artists Around Us is a self-funded documentary series created by Franzone Films to explore the people, perspectives and creative practices behind different forms of art. This episode profiles wildlife photographer Scott Portelli, using interview-led storytelling and location filming to give audiences a more personal understanding of his work and the experiences behind it.

Approach

The film was built around an extended interview with Scott, supported by observational footage captured on location. Rather than focusing only on his finished photography, the approach was designed to reveal the experiences, motivations and perspective behind the work, allowing the story to feel personal while giving the visuals room to speak for themselves.
